Period on the Go is a menstrual health initiative by Kamakhya, aimed at making sustainable and stigma-free menstruation support readily available in public and commercial spaces. The campaign recognizes that periods don’t pause for convenience — and neither should access to menstrual products.
Details of the box:
Each Period Box is a compact, clearly labeled, and aesthetically designed unit, measuring 10*10 inches. It contains sustainable menstrual products, such as biodegradable sanitary pads. Additionally, the box comes with a foam board that reads, “Got your Period? We Got You”.
Where and How:
The Period on the Go boxes are ideal for installation in corporate offices, cafés, restaurants, hotels, hostels, educational institutions, coworking spaces, gyms, and shopping malls. Installing these boxes ensures people never face an unplanned situation due to a lack of menstrual products. It promotes inclusivity, supports well-being, and helps normalize menstruation as a natural experience. By offering sustainable products, businesses align with eco-friendly practices and demonstrate corporate social responsibility.
Follow-up Refill Details:
To ensure that the Period Boxes are always well-stocked, Kamakhya offers a subscription-based refill system tailored to usage. Boxes are refilled regularly with biodegradable menstrual products.
If supplies run out earlier, a quick call or text ensures a same-day refill (location-dependent). This flexible system guarantees continuous access to menstrual products without partners needing to manage inventory.
